How Night Vision Works

Most night vision cameras utilize infrared LEDs that emit infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye but can be detected by the camera’s sensors. When there is insufficient ambient light, the camera switches to IR mode, illuminating the scene with infrared light. This allows the camera to capture images even in complete darkness.

Image Sensors
